Coach Drew Heinerichs joined the East Coast Power Basketball organization in 2016 and is the founder of The Skills Academy, a basketball-based club for elementary aged children aiming to teach them the proper skills and fundamentals through clinics.
Over the course of the past five years, Coach Heinerichs has accumulated over 100 wins and numerous championships coaching every age group from 4th grade through to 8th grade.
Drew attended Marple Newtown Senior High School in Delaware County, where he was named Captain his senior year. As starting point guard, he led the school to its first ever AAAA State Tournament appearance and the best record in school history. He attended Shippensburg University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.
Since 2001 he has been teaching fourth grade at Gladwyne Elementary School, which is located in the Lower Merion School District. Drew resides in King of Prussia with his wife and three boys.
