Coach Ryan Krawczeniuk comes to us from the Wilkes Barre/Scranton area of Pennsylvania.
Ryan was a high school and college standout at Myers High School, Mansfield University, and East Stroudsburg University.
In high school Ryan became the all-time leading scorer, racking up over 1,500 points, two District II MVPs, all-conference honors, four Wyoming Valley Conference Titles, and one District Title. While at Mansfield University played in all 26 games his Freshman year with nine starts and averaged 7-points per game before transferring to East Stroudsburg University. At East Stroudsburg Ryan enjoyed a successful 3-year career, averaging 10-points per game and by the end of his run, was ranked in many of the school’s all-time records; #1 in Free Throw Percentage (88.1%), Top 10 in Career 3-Pointers Made (122), 3-Point Percentage (38%), as well as Top 10 in Post-Season/NCAA Tournament Games Played.
Ryan’s most memorable and meaningful achievement was being a member of the 2017-2018 PSAC/Atlantic Regional Championship teams, helping lead ESU to their first ever Elite Eight appearance in Sioux Falls South Dakota.
After graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Business Management, Ryan spent three years coaching at both the collegiate and high school levels. He spent one year as an Assistant Coach at Misericordia University before becoming the Head Assistant Coach at Marywood University for the next two years.
He also has worked as the Director of Player Development at the Riverfront Sports Complex in Scranton PA where he helped his boss (the late John Bucci) operate his AAU program, camps, clinics, and AAU tournaments as well as personal training and recruiting.
